The Flave
From $499 NZD in the shop right now
The Flave is the perfect board for kids. It's my wave board made specifically for kids and lighter riders up to about 65kg. It's lighter than the wood boards, so it's the one to get if they want to get into the waves. It has the same fibreglass structure as my standard boards, just a slightly lower density core, and it costs less than my full-size boards. I generally point people to the bigger size so they don't grow out of it too quickly. Just not so big that it's hard to handle and turn.
Under 40kg? I'd go the S Gromlin for the flats, or an S to L Flave for the waves.
Over about 65kg? A full-size wave board might suit better. Message me and we'll work it out.

| L | 40–60kg |
| XL | 45–65kg |

Wave boards need pads. Add a pad set with your board and it comes applied. I sand the deck and fit them at no extra cost.
For smaller riders, go the Tail & Front Pad Combo. The arch bar is too big and high for a smaller rider.

The Gromlin
From $249 NZD in the shop right now
The Gromlin is my best-value board and it's designed with the beginner in mind. It's marine ply with a Formica base, so it's super hard-wearing, and it's made for skimming long, super fast runs in the shallows. It comes already padded, so it's ready to go. As you progress you can still hit ramps and rails and throw down tech tricks on it.

The Slipeezy is my highest-performing flatland board. If you're into tidal pools, creeks, rails, logs and jibs, this is the one, and it comes already padded. It's the board to grow your flatland skills on. There's also the Slipeezy Team Model: it's made for shallow water, rails, slides, jibs and maximum pop. The Crabba
Comes in E-glass / E-carbon
From $599 NZD in the shop right now
The Crabba is our original fish shape and it's made for mushy conditions. If you're in the whitewash a lot and your waves don't offer much push, this is your board. It's great on flat spots and in whitewater, and really good at getting you out fast and staying on the surface of the water. It's not our most popular shape, but I rate it really highly.
If you can stretch the budget, carbon is worth the extra spend. The difference in performance is quite dramatic: it's stiffer, stronger and more responsive.
